What to Wear!
It should feel like a spring day, and cooler in the evening so we recommend you pack layers. You can dress casual, and with comfortable walking shoes throughout the weekdays. There will be a lot of cobble stones in the Medina, where you will all be staying, so I suggest no pointed heels)
It is not at all required to where a Hijab, though many locals will be celebrating Ramadan, and may be dressed more traditionally. We will primarily be with Taib’s family, where the adult women do cover their hair Friday/Saturday. If you would like to wear one, I purchase thin chiffon ones from HERE.
For the wedding day ( Saturday the 23rd) We assume that many of you will want to try out traditional moroccan garb! The space, and many of us will be wearing it. Think colorful. On Thursday we will have an opportunity to shop for dresses + Tops there - and they are quite affordable in the medina- but if you’d like to purchase in advance here are some examples of outfits I’d suggest.
